WON’T IGNITE

When an electric stove will not start, first check if the appliance is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the stove power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is lit, that means a different part of the appliance will have to be repaired. The cause of the problem could be the surface element, infinite switch, oven burner igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner that does not heat does not do much good. An oven does not heat when there’s a broken oven sensor or bake element. Your burner does not ignite when an element is broken or the burner switch or the terminal block don’t work. IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove problem is when an igniter glows but it does not light. The cause is from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We are able to determine if we can fix these parts or if we have to replace the part.
